Book Club chooses a classic
In July, the Book Club will meet on the third Wednesday, July 20th, to discuss a book most of us read when it was originally published in 1960. Since then, our children, and often our grandchildren have read this in school in conjunction with social studies projects, history, or literature classes. In addition, many of us have also seen the movie in which Gregory Peck made the book a household word.
We decided it would be interesting to re-read this again to see how it has stood the test of time. Copies are available at the library. Stop by, check one out and join us for what promises to be a lively discussion.

This is too funny! I just started a book club at work because we all decided we needed to re-read it. We meet next week and it was totally worth rereading it as it's even better than I remember. Have fun with yours!
